Today we're taking you on a Virtual Tour of the West Highland neighborhood in Denver!


A great neighborhood located northwest of downtown Denver and directly west of the Highland neighborhood - West Highland has beautiful homes, a good mix of suburban style amenities along with cool local spots, and good schools!

West Highland Vibes


Located conveniently about 10 minutes from downtown Denver, West Highland is home to around 10k residents. It is an extremely charming neighborhood that has a great mix of suburban style amenities along with cool local spots to eat, drink, shop, and socialize. Although home prices are a good bit above the Denver median, with it's proximity to downtown and mix of great spots to socialize, it's value is high.


The neighborhood is bordered to the north by the Berkeley neighborhood, to the east by Highland, to the south by Sloan's Lake, and to the west by Wheat Ridge.


Served by the Denver Public School District, the schools here are just okay. The neighborhood is served by North High School which get a B-*. For the Middle and Elementary Schools, you have Skinner Middle and Edison Elementary, both which get a B+*.


Home Price Statistics


At the time of writing this the median single-family home sale price was around $900k. This is about $200k above the Denver median. Currently on the market, single-family home prices range from as low as $400k and upwards of $2.3m. For condos/townhomes, there are very few listing, but prices currently on the market range from $375k up to $850k. Approximately 67% of residents own versus 33% rent.
